Sea The Change is powered by volunteers. From inclusive cycling sessions to community action days, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.
We have both regular and occasional volunteers who join us for community cleans, nurdle hunts, events, and who support our Beach Wheelchairs scheme. Whether helping on the ground at an event, assisting participants during cycling sessions, or contributing behind the scenes, every role plays a vital part in creating a more inclusive and environmentally responsible community.
Our volunteers give their time, skills and energy to ensure everyone — regardless of age, ability or background — can access opportunities that promote wellbeing, confidence and connection.

Volunteer Areas
Event Support
Helping to deliver inclusive cycling sessions and community events. This may involve registration, welcoming participants, assisting riders, or supporting logistics on the day.
Bike Maintenance
Supporting with bike checks, basic repairs and maintenance to ensure equipment is safe, reliable and accessible for everyone.
Accessibility Support
Working alongside participants who require additional support, helping create a safe, inclusive and empowering environment.
Community Outreach
Helping spread awareness, build partnerships and connect Sea The Change with the wider community.
